Hadiza Aliko Mohammed holds a Humanitarian MBA from and is a fellow of Roxbourg Institute of Social Entrepreneurship, a Masters degree in Islamic Banking Finance and Management from the University of Gloucestershire, a BSc. Business Studies and Sociology from the University of Surrey and a postgraduate Diploma in Islamic Banking and Insurance from IIBI UK. She became an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Insurance in 1991. She has a certificate in Corporate Governance from INSEAD; In Leadership Development from an Islamic Perspective from the Caribbean Muslim Network.

Her work experience spans 3 decades, covering insurance, manufacturing and education. In 2013 she was appointed the first Independent Director of NAHCO, the leading ground handling company in West Africa where she served for over 5years.

She is on the board of various companies and organizations, including Blackquest Nigeria Limited, Al Amanah Foundation, Kaduna International School, Leadway Assurance Company, Halo Nigeria Capital Management Limited and Ecobasic Seed company.

Hadiza Aliko Mohammed has a strong bias for ethical finance and developing people. She works in the substance abuse space where she founded a youth association an outpatient centre for relapse prevention. She became a mentor on the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship platform.
